**Job Title: HR Systems & Compliance Specialist**
**Location: Cadillac, MI**
**Business Unit: Avon Technologies**
**Purpose of Position:**
As a part of the HR Central Services team, this role will support development, maintenance and optimization of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and other systems supported by the HRIS team. The individual will be primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity of the entry and maintenance of employee data while adhering to internal controls and identifying potential for process improvement opportunities. The incumbent will also analyze and interpret data in order to support the objectives of the HR Operations and Total Rewards team.
**Essential Duties and/or Functions:**
* Support the entry, maintenance, expansion, and ongoing audit of employee data.
* Assist in projects involving analysis, design, testing, implementation, upgrades, and optimization support for the HRIS Director.
* Support researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws.
* Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS related policies and procedures.
* Participate in increasing knowledge of basic HR fundamentals and HRIS application/tools through various continuing education platforms.
* Support process flows, systems integrations, and data integrity by working closely with various departments including but not limited to: Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Legal and IT.
* Support documentation of user procedures, guidelines, and business processes.
* Support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools, both on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
* Assist in development and delivery of standard reports for ongoing needs.
* Plan and conduct end to end analysis including data gathering and validation.
* Assist in the development of communication and/or training materials, including user guides.
* Assist with preparation of annual compliance efforts including but not limited to: Affirmative Action Plan, EEO-1 reporting, BLS Reporting, State specific compliance updates/changes, FLSA audits, etc.
* Assist with annual open enrollment and general employee benefits efforts including but not limited to: Enrollment audits, quality checks of benefits-related data, vendor file feeds, benefit discrepancy resolution, etc.
* Lead employee wellness initiatives under the direction of the US Benefits Manager
* Supports SBU HR Leadership teams and Site HR on a project-based initiatives and general systems, benefits or compliance queries.
**Required Minimum Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
* Two years’ experience in an HR Generalist role or higher
* Strong interest in HRIS with the ability to produce reports that are accurate, complete, and prepared on schedule.
* Ability to support HRIS in a variety of functional areas, processes, and data.
* 1-2 years of HRIS experience.
* Ability to quickly grasp facts, processes, procedures in a changing environment.
* Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines within short time frames.
* Strong interpersonal skills: ability to interact with all levels of the company, as well as willingness to coach and teach end users who do not possess expert or SME level system skills.
* Effective presentation skills including written and verbal communication skills.
* Computer proficiency and technical aptitude in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint
* Ability to perform with a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, integrity, and credibility.
**Preferred/Desired Skills and/or Experiences:**
* Experience with ADP Workforce Now
* Working knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
* Working knowledge of US employment law and regulations
* Experience with Global HRIS systems and integrations

*The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cadillac, MI is $75,000 to $76,000 annually.* *The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.*
