Job Description

### Who you are
– 10+ years of experience in product design or UX
– Three years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization, including two years of leading design projects and working with executive leaders
– Problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing developer platforms
– Experience working with technical/design teams to create user flows and wireframes, and build user interface mockups and prototypes
– Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features within a user-centered design process
– Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy
– The ability to thrive in ambiguity and eagerness to drive meaningful product direction

– Based in San Francisco, CA, you will lead high-impact, user-centered design, align cross-functional teams around user needs, and prioritize high-value features
– As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft intuitive user experiences—from concept to execution
– You will collaborate with your design partners to enhance the Twelve Labs design language and create exceptional, innovative products that establish positive emotional connections with our customers
– Contribute to the overall design and product direction at Twelve Labs
– Craft high-quality product designs, from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes and visuals
– Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and data scientists to understand requirements, provide creative solutions, and help shape our product roadmap and vision
– Communicate the experience design at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
– Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates
– Advocate for the prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements
