Visa Requirements: H1B,nH4 EAD, US Citizen, Green Card (GC), and GC EAD.

Note: This position does not provide reimbursement for relocation expenses. Candidates will need to cover relocation costs at their own expense.

About the role:

The Process Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing systems and equipment process maps, workflows, and procedures from the business point of view.¿

Position Responsibilities:

* Work with the Design team & Subject Matter Experts (Business & Technology) on creating current & target state process maps.
* Work with the design team and Subject Matter Experts to create capability maps.
* Work with the design team, and risk, compliance, legal, technology, and subject matter experts to develop risk assessment and risk control requirements.
* Work with the design team, Subject matter experts, technology, etc on requirements/acceptance criteria documentation.
* Work within an Agile project (2-week sprints).

Experience Required:

Financial industry experience required.

Technical/Business Consulting.

* Collaborates with other business units to understand current state and target state process maps and requirements for product and user experience.
* Gathers requirements for target state from other clients, SMEs, etc.
* Contributes to best practices and standards put in place by the industry.
* Understand dependency between teams.
* Collaborates with the project teams to develop the best processes/procedures.

Skills Required:

Tools and Technologies

* Process Design Tools: Proficiency with business process management (BPM) tools such as IBM Blueworks Live, Signavio, or Bizagi.
* Agile Tools: Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello for task management and sprint planning.
* Data Analysis and Reporting: Basic data analysis and reporting skills to track process performance and identify areas for improvement.

Industry Knowledge and Consulting

* Financial Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the financial industry, including core processes, products, services, and regulatory environment.
* Business Consulting: Experience in providing technical and business consulting, advising on the optimal process designs that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
* Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Ability to work with teams from different business units to gather insights, understand dependencies, and develop aligned solutions.

Agile Methodology and Project Management

* Agile Development: Experience working within Agile project management frameworks, including planning and executing tasks within 2-week sprints and delivering iterative improvements.
* Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to document requirements, and acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution.
* Stakeholder Management: Strong experience in working with business units, technology teams, and subject matter experts to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Business Process Design and Mapping

* Process Mapping: Proficient in creating and analyzing current and target state process maps, workflows, and business processes using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS.
* Capability Mapping: Ability to develop capability maps that align business objectives with technology capabilities.
* Business Process Reengineering (BPR): Experience in redesigning business processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product and service quality.
