**Job Description: – Solution Architect Microsoft Dynamics 365**:

TheCLIENT is looking to enhance its recently deployed Business Automation system, built on MS Dynamics 365. This system serves all divisions including the Licensing division, processing license applications and renewals across 57 business categories. Additionally, the organization has a .NET-based Business Portal that connects to the Business Automation system. The Business Portal caters to outside New Yorkers, allowing them to conduct various transactions related to licensing, payments, document uploads, and complaints to CLIENT’s Consumer Services division and OLPS division.

The Business Automation system, deployed on MS Dynamics 365, has been operational for eight months. However, persistent challenges necessitate expert intervention. Our objectives are threefold: optimize system performance, address post-production issues, and enhance functionality. This includes catering to internal users within our Licensing division and seamless integrations with external agency systems (such as DOF and DMV). Additionally, we must address approximately 100+ items in the Parking Lot across all divisions. To achieve these goals, we require the expertise of **Solution Architect Microsoft Dynamics 365** with minimum ten (10) years of experience to drive system success and address critical business needs:

· **Solution Architect Dynamics 365**: Oversees system architecture and design.

The selected candidate will join CLIENT’s technical team to assist in designing and implementing enhancements across critical systems. These systems include Business Automation, Business Portal, and integrations with AIMS (Asset and Inspection Management System) as well as external systems such as DMV, DOF (Department of Finance), and ECB (Environmental Control Board). The primary focus is to support the agency’s license approval and renewal functionalities while addressing issues related to reference data for businesses, addresses, and contacts. The goal is to ensure seamless end-to-end workflow processes. To achieve these goals, CLIENT’s requires the expertise of four specialized consultants, each contributing to specific areas:

· **Solution Architect Dynamics 365**: Oversees system architecture and design. Responsibilities include analyzing existing workflows related to license processing, payments, and correspondence. The Solution Architect proposes optimizations to address post-production issues and collaborates with internal teams to resolve integration challenges with external systems (e.g., DMV). Ensuring scalability and alignment with long-term goals is also a key aspect of their role.

**MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (** ***Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered )***

**Minimum Qualifications:**

1. **Educational Background:**

* **Bachelor’s Degree** in **Computer Science, Engineering**, or a related field.

2. **Experience**:

* Minimum of **10+ years** of experience with **Microsoft Dynamics 365**, focusing on **customer engagement apps** and related **Microsoft cloud solutions**.
* 5+ years in designing and **architecting** applications.
* 5+ years of experience in **solutioning** in enterprise applications.
* Proven experience in s**ystem architecture** and **design**, particularly in analyzing and **optimizing workflows** related to **license processing, payments,** and **correspondence**.
* Experience in **integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365** with **external systems**.

3. **Technical Skills:**

* Strong technical and functional skills in **Microsoft Dynamics 365** modules relevant to **Business Automation** and **Business Portal.**
* Proficiency in handling integrations with internal and external systems (with agencies like DOF, DMV, etc.).
* Experience with **CI/CD** processes using **Azure Pipelines**.
* Strong experience in **Power Platform** with **Canvas Apps, Power Apps, Logic Apps**, and **Power Automate Flows**.
* Strong experience in developing Plug-ins and **Workflows** in **CRM**.
* Experience in configuration of **Power Pages** (Power Apps Portals).
* Experience in designing and developing reports using **Power BI** and **SSRS**.
* Experience in performing **Data Analysis** and **Data Migration**.

4. **Soft Skills:**

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
* Ability to lead successful implementations and focus on how solutions address broader business and technical needs.

5. **Additional Skills:**

* Familiarity with the Success by Design framework for Dynamics 365 solutions.
* Ability to perform solution envisioning and requirement analyses.
* Experience in addressing post-production issues and ensuring scalability and alignment with long-term goals.

**Project Phases Deliverables**

**1. Business Process Mapping and Optimization**

* Modify components of the Business Automation system to incorporate enhancements and fixes.

2. **System Enhancements and Customizations**

* Customize and optimize the system to streamline user interactions.

3. **Technical Documentation and Knowledge Transfer**

* Implement information architecture through prototypes and mockups.

4. **Delivery and Deployment**

* Deploy refined architectural capabilities aligned with goals and strategic objectives.
* Support the development team by adhering to industry standards and methodologies.
* Document all architectural frameworks and reference material.

**Special Requirements:**

***Consultants will not be compensated for lunch or mealtime holidays, vacations, or sick leaves taken by the consultant during the engagement. No overtime or schedule differentials premiums will be paid to Contractor for Consultants that perform work after/outside of Business Hours. All hours worked will be paid in accordance with the Hourly Bill Rate the Consultant’s labor category. Unless otherwise pre-approved in writing by the CLIENT reporting manager, the consultant cannot work more than 35 hours per week without prior authorization.***

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 – $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
