Job Title: Network Engineer

Visa Status: H1B,OPT EAD, H4 EAD.

Experience: 14 years

Duration: Longterm

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

* Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
* Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
* Monitor network performance and integrity to ensure high levels of data availability and network performance.
* Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
* Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery).
* Communicate with users when needed.
* Maintain complete technical documentation.
* Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with network infrastructure.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize network design and performance.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a Network Engineer.
* Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP) is a plus.
* Solid background in Linux systems.
* Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
* Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
* Excellent communication skills with a capacity to explain complex concepts in layman’s language.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology.
