Electronic Hardware Engineer

Raleigh, NC

This company, a developer of advanced technology to better manage our power and utility resources, is looking for an Electronic Hardware Engineer. These positions are due to their steadily growing business, with more and more communities turning to intelligent management systems. They’re making technologies, such as the smart grid, a reality.

Position Description

In this position, you’ll take board-level electronic hardware projects through the full development lifecycle. This includes design, testing, and final release. Specific responsibilities include:

* Design analog and digital circuits with high accuracy so they’re reliable in harsh environments.
* Validate Analog and Digital circuits using oscilloscopes, logic analyzer, multimeter, chamber, etc.
* Trouble shooting and failure analysis of complex electronic circuitry.
* Work with manufacturing to define tests and fixtures.
This position will give you experience with multiple cutting edge technologies in spaces such as wireless communications, large-scale mesh networks, IoT, Edge Intelligence and advanced ASIC development.

Qualifications

* BSEE/CE with 2+ years of experience in board-level electronics design.
* Solid background in both analog and digital design using CAD and simulation tools (OrCAD, PSpice, LTSpice, Altium, etc).
* Experience related to areas such as: microprocessors, microcontroller, DSP, DDR memory, high speed digital interfaces, signal integrity, precision analog circuits and power management IC.
* Experience in testing/troubleshooting electronics with lab instruments/equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, etc.).
* Solid communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work with other teams.

Compensation:

$85,000-95,000/year

TN and H1B sponsorship is available.
