Senior Cloud Application Architect – Locals Only

Job Description

A Public Sector client of ours is looking for a Senior Cloud Application Architect to work on their ongoing project in the Atlanta, GA office.

Below are the additional details of this role:

Required Skills:

* Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in IT software architecture and development with significant expertise in AWS, Java microservices, and modern UI frameworks (React or Angular).
* Database Expertise: Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, Document DB, and Elasticsearch, including designing and managing complex data models.
* Infrastructure as Code: Proven experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
* Cloud Monitoring: Experience with cloud monitoring tools and practices, including AWS CloudWatch and other related technologies.
* Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage complex projects, and drive successful project outcomes.
* Proactive Approach: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards identifying and addressing technical challenges.
* Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of software development best practices, including modular design, code quality, and system maintenance.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
