**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services that help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. This role is essential in supporting pediatrics population in school settling . . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of care plans and be committed to enhancing skills through effective therapy interventions.

**Responsibilities**

* Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans /IEP developed by the Occupational Therapist.
* Support patients in achieving their goals related to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
* Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve patient mobility and function.
* Utilize medical imaging when necessary to assess patient conditions and progress.
* Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment interventions.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for improvement.

**Qualifications**

* Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
* Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to occupational therapy practices.
* Experience in skilled nursing facilities or acute care settings is preferred.
* Familiarity with pediatric therapy practices is a plus.
* Understanding of occupational health principles and geriatrics is beneficial.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

PAY- $48-55 per hrs.

Schedule – Monday to Friday between 9-3:30. 1 hr of paperwork is included. School schedule to be followed except summer is off for 1 month.

H1B visa sponsorship available.

Work as a part time, full time or per diem. Rates vary .

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $48.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
