Senior CICS System Developer
Job Description
A Public Sector client of ours is looking for a Senior CICS System Developer work on their ongoing project in the Jackson, MS office.
Below are the additional details of this role:
Required Skills:
* Programming experience in Natural, and the utilization of ADABAS. Experience running Natural processes in batch via JCL and/or SCL, and online. Experience in web and client server environments.
* Experience with analysing user requirements and designs along with testing, implementing, and performing Quality Assurance (QA) of information systems utilizing NATURAL ONE, ADABAS, MVS/JCL COBOL/CICS, VSAM files, LINUX ESPSOFT/SCL, INFORMIX relational database, and UNIX.
* Experience with automated eligibility determination systems
* Ability to provide subject matter expertise on system architectures
* Ability to provide recommendations regarding enhancements to the systems and processes
* Experience developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes
* Experience training end users on software
* Knowledge of SNAP and TANF eligibility and economic assistance policies and procedures, and current state and federal mandates as implemented or like those in MAVS, the Mississippi statewide eligibility determination system.
* Experience interpreting, designing, and implementing federal and state mandates in Linux systems such as MAVS.
