Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Sr. Cloud Engineer for a healthcare client based in Southern CA. We are ideally looking for a candidate located in Irving, TX, Irvine, CA, or Henderson, NV… but will consider all-star candidates for a fully remote position.

Location: Irving, TX; Irvine, CA; or Henderson, NV… Fully remote for an all-star candidate!

Schedule: Hybrid, onsite 2-3 days/week

Duration: 3-month contract-to-hire

Salary: $65-$75/hr during contract, $135,000-$155,000 base salary conversion

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement cloud-agnostic workflows and digital platforms, ensuring compatibility across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
* Develop and maintain automated server setups and CI/CD pipelines within Kubernetes, leveraging tools like Terraform for infrastructure management.
* Understand and implement cloud vendor catalog services, including security groups, compute services, routing, and DNS, to ensure robust and secure deployments.

Must-Haves:

* Extensive experience with Kubernetes with a deep understanding of Kubernetes principles, custom resource definitions, and the broader Kubernetes ecosystem.
* 5+ years of experience in cloud-native architecture and design, with a strong background in cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
* CI/CD experience – Automating, creating tests, deployments
* Experience designing, building, and architecting cloud solutions for application development teams
