Role Description

This is a remote role for a PhD Software Engineer at Hexagon Technologies. The Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, programming, and object-oriented programming (OOP). The role involves creating innovative solutions and contributing to cutting-edge projects.

Qualifications

* PhD in Computer Science
* Currently in valid visa status e.g. F1, OPT, CPT, H1B, O1, B1/B2
* One or more published academic papers/publications
* Google scholar profile with citations
* Have been reviewer for other academic papers (e.g. journal reviewer)
* Programming/software development skills in one or more languages eg Python/Typescript/R/Java/C++/Golang etc
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Visa sponsorship (O-1A)

* WE WILL FILE YOUR O-1A VISA
* We have experience getting visa & green card approvals for PhDs

Green card sponsorship (EB1-A/EB1-B/EB2-NIW/PERM)

* We also offer green card sponsorship to qualified candidates

Base salary: $20,000-30,000 USD stipend (subject to increase upon client placement)
