e are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Advanced Materials & Transportation Product Platform Application, Automation & AI group. The ideal candidate will design, test, deploy, and maintain data pipelines and AI tools, supporting product development, process development, and horizontal use cases. This role requires collaboration with colleagues in the Advanced Materials & Transportation Product Platform, Transportation & Electronics Business Group Verticals, Corporate Research Labs, and division partners. As a Data Engineering Advanced Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. * eading the design and deployment of data pipelines and foundational data systems. D
* eveloping and maintaining AI tools to support various business needs. C
* ollaborating with product developers and application engineers to develop vertical use cases for automotive and aerospace applications. S
* taying up to date with the latest software updates and requirements, whether from third-party providers or from internal organizations. C
* ollaborating seamlessly with personnel in AMTPP, TEBG verticals, corporate research, divisions, and other internal and external resources as needed to accomplish your objectives. E
* stablishing best practices for our developers, mentoring them in writing better software, and introducing relevant new services to the team to accelerate top priorities. Y

our Skills and Expertise T

o set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: D

* octoral degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) T
* hree (3) years of Data Engineering/Science in a private, public, government or military environment A

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
