Seeking a highly skilled Prompt Engineer to join our growing AI team within a leading asset management firm. This role is pivotal in designing, refining, and optimizing prompts for large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4, enabling more intelligent automation, research, and client-facing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, test, and iterate high-quality prompts to optimize LLM performance across internal use cases.
* Collaborate with product, data, and business teams to translate complex financial or operational requirements into effective prompts.
* Analyze model outputs and identify opportunities for improvement in prompt design or data input.
* Stay updated on the latest LLM capabilities and trends to drive innovation within the organization.
* Document prompt engineering strategies, experiment results, and best practices.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience working with large language models (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding financial concepts or previous experience in banking/finance is preferred.
* Familiarity with Python, APIs, or AI/ML workflows is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
* Willingness to work onsite in the New York office
