**Job Requirement:**

We are seeking a Healthcare Software Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.

**We are looking for a candidate who can work under our W-2/ W-2 hourly/1099.**

Location: On-site (Los Angles) or **Remote**

* Experience working directly in a Healthcare payer or healthcare providers EDI solution that involves upgrades or migration of EDI technologies.
* Experience with requirements gathering, design, and mapping EDI X12 276/277 claims status and claims response, EDI X12 834 member enrollment, EDI X12 835 claims payment and remittance and EDI X12 837 electronic claims transactions.
* **Experience using Edifecs toolset, Edifecs SpecBuilder, Edifecs MapBuilder, Edifecs XEngine, Edifecs XEngine Server, Edifecs Transactions Management, EDIFECS – Start of Transaction, Trading Partner Management Edifecs Application Manager (EAM), Edifecs GBD repository, HIPAA X12, Unix/Linux Java Understanding of EDI Transactions.**
* Experience working in Edifecs 8.4 or higher.

**Responsibilities:**

* Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
* Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
* Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
* Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
* Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
* Document all programming tasks and procedures
* Perform routine software maintenance

**Qualifications:**

* Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
* Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages
* **Edifecs product experience 7+years**
* **SQL server 5+yrs**
* **Overall 8+yrs experience**
* Deadline and detail-oriented
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
