Job Description

**Job Title:** Power BI / Python Developer (Financial Domain)
**Location:** Newark, NJ – 3 days onsite per week
**Duration:** 12+ Month Contract (Long-Term)

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on **Power BI / Python Developer** with experience in financial services, asset management, or banking environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work with complex datasets in a cloud-based environment. Experience with **Fixed Income** products is a significant plus.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in **Power BI** and **Tableau**.
– Write efficient, scalable **Python** scripts for data transformation, automation, and advanced analytics.
– Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
– Work with **Azure Cloud** services for data storage, processing, and integration.
– Analyze large, complex financial datasets with a focus on Fixed Income products.
– Optimize reporting performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

**Required Skills & Experience:**

– Strong, hands-on expertise in **Power BI** and **Python** (advanced level).
– Working knowledge of **Tableau**.
– Prior experience in **financial services, asset management, or banking**.
– **Fixed Income** product knowledge is highly preferred.
– Experience with **Azure Cloud** platforms.
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 – $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
