**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled **IT Support Specialist** to support our employees, maintain our IT infrastructure, and ensure network security and reliability. This role is hands-on and requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple IT responsibilities.
We prefer you major from Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
**Preferred Education:**
– Bachelor’s degree in **Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering** (or related field).
**Key Responsibilities**
**Employee Support & Training**
– Provide daily IT support for employees (hardware, surveillance system,operating systems, email, networking, office applications).
– Offer IT guidance on systems and applications; create and maintain user manuals and FAQs.
– Serve as the on-call responder for critical IT and network incidents outside normal business hours.
**Systems & Infrastructure Management**
– Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network devices.
– Manage software and system upgrades (OS patches, application updates, database upgrades) with rollback planning.
– Create and maintain IT documentation, backup procedures, upgrade workflows, and disaster recovery runbooks.
**Networking & Security**
– Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
– Manage SonicWall firewalls (policies, VPN setup, troubleshooting, firmware upgrades).
– Optimize network performance, resolve connectivity issues, and enforce security policies.
– Implement and enforce security practices including MFA, password policies, and endpoint protection.
– Support threat monitoring and response to email attacks, malware, and other security risks.
**Data Protection & Disaster Recovery**
– Perform regular database backups (full/incremental/differential) and validate restore procedures.
– Plan and execute disaster recovery (DR) processes and participate in DR drills.
**IT Operations & Coordination**
– Maintain and manage IT hardware and software assets, including procurement, registration, maintenance, and decommissioning.
– Create and manage employee accounts, configure access permissions, and ensure compliance with security and privacy policies.
– Configure and maintain VPN, remote desktop, and mobile device management tools for secure remote access.
– Coordinate with hardware/software vendors and service providers to ensure timely IT support and scheduled maintenance.
– Provide recommendations to improve IT reliability, security, and efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
