**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced **GCP Platform Administrator – Lead** to design and manage enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. This role will focus on **organization/folder/project hierarchy design, tenant setup, and governance**, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant cloud operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GCP administration, cloud architecture, and platform governance.

**Key Responsibilities**

– Design and implement **GCP organization, folder, and project hierarchy** for enterprise use.
– Lead the setup and management of **multi-tenant environments** in GCP.
– Define and enforce **governance, policies, IAM roles, and security best practices**.
– Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and security teams to align on standards and requirements.
– Optimize GCP environments for **cost, performance, and scalability**.
– Provide guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and engineers.
– Troubleshoot platform-level issues and drive root cause analysis.
– Document standards, best practices, and operational procedures.

**Required Skills & Experience**

– 7–10 years of IT experience with **4+ years in cloud administration**.
– Strong hands-on expertise with **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** services and administration.
– Proven experience in **organization/folder/project hierarchy design** in GCP.
– Solid understanding of **IAM, service accounts, networking, billing, and security** in GCP.
– Proficiency with **Terraform/Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**.
– Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, or similar).
– Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

**Preferred Skills**

– GCP **Professional Cloud Architect** or **Professional Cloud Security Engineer** certification.
– Experience with **multi-cloud environments** (AWS, Azure).
– Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automation tools**.
– Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $54.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
