FIX Trade support wit Python scripting

Job Description

Production Support with FIX protocol, Python, Equities, supporting the Equity Front office trading, risk, and middle office real time products for Equity Cash and ETS application.

Experience/skills that are MUST have:

– **MUST HAVE FIX Protocol Knowledge**
– **MUST BE VERY STRONG WITH PYTHON SCRIPTING**
– **MUST BE IN THE GREATER NEW YORK AREA TO INTERVIEW**
– **Strong experience in Windows and Linux/Unix services.**
– **Strong Domain skills** – Must have working experience in Capital Markets across modules and instruments with one or more of: CASH, ETS, Options, Swaps products

Job Duties:

– Front Line Support functions for Equity trading systems used by bank’s clients as well as internal users.
– Help build monitoring tools for application and infrastructure components.
– Partner with business, development, and infrastructure teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
– Create sustainable systems and services through automation.
– Collaborate with Application team to establish and enforce production and development standards.
– Escalate / follow-up on permanent fix for development related issues.
– Lead incident response efforts and post-mortem analysis to prevent future occurrences.
– Global support and includes weekend availability to troubleshoot production related issues and perform checkouts.

Pay: Up to $250,000.00 per year
