**Role: Associate QA Engineer**

**Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)**

**Employment Type: Contract**

**Visa: US Citizen, GC, H1b**

As an Associate QA Engineer, you will cooperate with members of both the Product and Development Teams to help them make informed decisions on releases of one of the best tools car dealerships in the United States.

**Responsibilities:**

– Participate and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, deployment, operation, and refinement.
– Participate in the release planning process to review functional specifications and create release plans.
– Collaborate with software engineers to design verification test plans.
– Design and develop regression test suites, and conduct cross-functional reviews with engineering, applications, and field organizations.
– Produce regular reports on software release status and quality and clearly communicate findings in an informative and audience-appropriate manner across all organizational levels.
– Design and implement a test automation strategy for multiple product development teams at the onset of the project.
– Develop and contribute to a culture of high performance, transparency, and continuous improvement as it relates to the infrastructure services and streamlining of the development pipeline.
– Collaborate within a diverse, global team of highly skilled engineers by providing guidance, support, and clearly defined priorities

**What We are Looking For:**

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

– Required 5+ years of relevant Quality Engineering experience (required).
– Strong programming skills in 
**Python**
for automation.
– Hands-on experience with 
**Playwrigh**
t and Rest Assured.
– Understanding of RESTful design principles and API testing, with and without automation tools.
– Proficiency in 
**SQL**
 for validating large datasets.
– Familiarity with Agile software development and defect tracking tools.

**Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills**

– Experience with Robot Framework, K6, JMeter, or Cypress.
– Experience in 
**Google Cloud Platform (GCP**
) – particularly Big Query, Airflow/Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Data Plex.
– Knowledge of data performance testing methodologies
– Exposure to 
**CI/CD pipelines**
 for automated test execution.
