**The Planet Group has partnered with a Greater Philadelphia area company to locate an AI Product Strategy Lead for a contract role.**
This is a
hybrid role
and requires candidates who can be onsite three days (3) in the Great Philadelphia area. H1B’s are welcome but must be willing to transfer a visa after an initial contract portion.

Our client is expanding its efforts to transform how developers build software by embedding intelligent tooling into everyday workflows. This role sits at the intersection of
**business strategy, applied AI, and hands-on engineering.**
You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Investment stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions, and guide adoption across teams.
**Responsibilities:**
– Partner with product, engineering, and investment stakeholders to identify where AI and GenAI can create meaningful business value.
– Translate business challenges into practical AI-driven solutions that improve workflows, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
– Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on ideas to validate feasibility and business impact.
– Turn successful experiments into clear recommendations and support engineering teams with scaling and implementation.
– Use modern GenAI tools, automation frameworks, and cloud-based AI services to create working demos and reference solutions.
– Help teams adopt AI-enabled ways of working, including AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, and workflow optimization.
– Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining AI capabilities, limitations, and tradeoffs.
– Influence AI adoption across teams while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
– Support a culture of experimentation, learning, and responsible AI usage
**Required Skills and Experience:**
– A minimum of Five (5) years in technology-focused roles involving software, data platforms, analytics, or automation.
– Bachelors in Computer Science or other relevant field is required. Masters degree is preferred
– Practical, hands-on experience applying AI, GenAI, or intelligent systems to real-world business problems.
– Prior work within investment management, capital markets, trading platforms, or other highly data-driven financial domains.
– A track record of taking early-stage ideas, building quick experiments, and turning them into clear, validated recommendations.
– Comfort working directly with modern AI tooling and cloud-based services to explore and demonstrate new capabilities.
– A solid grasp of how modern engineering teams operate, including development lifecycles, tooling, and delivery practices.
– Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide decisions and influence outcomes without formal authority.
**Preferred Skills:**
– Experience using AI or automation to improve business operations, analytics workflows, or decision-support systems.
– Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools or productivity platforms that accelerate software delivery.
– Exposure to financial services environments with strong regulatory, security, or compliance expectations.
– Understanding of investment data, market structures, or ETF-related processes and systems.
– Experience navigating governance, risk, and responsible-use considerations when introducing new technology.
– Comfort working in complex enterprise environments where collaboration and influence matter as much as technical skill
