Position: Kafka / StreamSets Developer (Onsite)
Locations: Louisville, KY | Houston, TX
Visa: H1B / H4 EAD | Long-term

Responsibilities
Build and support real-time data streaming using Apache Kafka
Develop and maintain StreamSets Data Collector pipelines
Create/maintain Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and consumer groups
Implement error handling, retries, and monitoring for pipelines
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance (latency/throughput)
Work with data/app teams for requirements, deployments, and documentation

Must-Haves
Strong hands-on Apache Kafka experience
StreamSets pipeline development (Data Collector)
Real-time streaming / event-driven data processing experience
One language: Java / Python / Scala
Good debugging skills + Linux basics

Nice-to-Haves
Kafka Connect, Schema Registry (Confluent)
Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes
Monitoring tools (Splunk/ELK/Prometheus/Grafana)
