**Role Description**

We are looking for a highly experienced Power BI Developer / BI Developer with expertise in SQL for a contract-based remote role. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI dashboards, designing and implementing data models, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements. Key responsibilities include querying databases, creating visualizations, ensuring data accuracy, and providing actionable insights for improved decision-making processes.

**Qualifications**

– Proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
– Expertise in SQL for writing queries, database optimization, and data manipulation
– Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data modeling techniques
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to process large datasets and extract insights
– Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements
– Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
– Experience with Azure Data Platforms or similar cloud-based solutions (preferred)
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
