Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Freelance US IT Recruiter to support our talent acquisition efforts across a range of IT roles in the United States. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the US hiring landscape, hands-on experience with technical recruiting, and the ability to deliver high-quality candidates within tight timelines.
**Key Responsibilities**
– Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for US-based IT roles
– Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and other channels
– Screen resumes and conduct initial HR/technical interviews
– Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and clients
– Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals
– Work on roles such as Software Developers, DevOps Engineers, Data Engineers, QA, Cloud Engineers, etc.
– Ensure compliance with US hiring practices and documentation (W2, C2C, 1099)
– Negotiate compensation and facilitate offer closures
– Maintain accurate records in ATS/CRM systems
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
– Proven experience in
**US IT recruitment (2+ years minimum)**
– Strong understanding of US tax terms: W2, C2C, 1099
– Familiarity with visa types: H1B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT
– Expertise in sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed, Monster, etc.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
– Experience working with MSP/VMS clients is a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
– Existing database of US IT candidates
– Experience recruiting for niche/advanced tech roles
– Familiarity with ATS tools (e.g., Bullhorn, JobDiva, Ceipal)
**Work Arrangement**
– Fully Remote (Must be available during US business hours)
– Freelance/Contract-based engagement
