This position supports the staff and management of the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (MPFA or the Authority) and serves as deposit and accounts payable clerk, mail, inventory, and office clerk, and receptionist. Responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling board meetings (three (3) – four (4) per year), taking and transcribing meeting minutes, maintaining administrative files, mail, and office supplies, and performing SWIFT entries for purchase orders, deposits, and payments to vendors and program recipients.
This position teleworks up to four (4) days per week with weekly requirements to be on-site at the office location in St. Paul on a day of your choosing. During two periods yearly (approximately mid-January through mid-February and mid-July through Mid-August), office visits for mail and deposits may be required each business day. Other office visits may be required throughout the year on an as needed bases for mail and deposit clerk duties.
Telework will be based on the business needs of the unit and is at supervisory discretion. Staff are provided with the tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment and may telework from anywhere in Minnesota or a neighboring state. Please note, the telework policy could change with notice based on business needs.

### **Minimum Qualifications**
**To receive credit for your education and experience, your resume should clearly describe how you meet each minimum and/or preferred qualification listed, including dates of employment.**
Knowledge of:
* Business practices, principles, and protocols as applied to disbursements, purchasing and receipts techniques
* The structures and purpose of policies and procedures sufficient to develop and use them in a public sector environment
Knowledge of communications sufficient to:
* Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
* Prepare responses to routine inquiries
* Write, prepare, and edit materials, using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence construction.
Skill in customer service sufficient to:
* Perform the duties with politeness, respect, and interest in positive problem solving
* Provide prompt and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through email and other written or electronic correspondence
### **Preferred Qualifications**
Skill in data entry sufficient to read source documents and enter data in specific databases or tracking systems
Ability to accurately input, verify, and edit electronic data
Skill in data entry sufficient to evaluate the agency’s existing data entry organization methods and recommend improvements
Experience working with Minnesota’s State-Wide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT) system
Experience with Microsoft 365 Office products
