**Job Duties**

The Bristol District of VDOT is seeking professionals with experience in providing administrative and technical support to managers, workgroups, and facilities. This position will support both the Maintenance and Construction teams, with duties that include coordinating and scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, processing reimbursements, ordering supplies, processing invoices, reconciling SPCC card transactions, and handling various other general administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, punctual, and organized, with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with the administrative team. Proficiency with computers and a strong commitment to customer service for both internal and external clients are essential. Additionally, this role requires the ability to manage confidential and sensitive issues appropriately while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and practices.

**Minimum Qualifications**

* Skill in the use of computers and software applications to include Microsoft Office.

* Experience applying executive administrative practices.

* Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.

* Experience applying office business practices and principles.

* Ability to compile, coordinate and prepare reports.

* Skill in filing and document management.

* Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues appropriately.

* Skill in providing and promoting good customer service to internal and external customers.

**Additional Considerations**

* Experience interpreting and applying policies and procedures.

* Ability to work independently.

* A combination of training, experience, or education in General office Practices, Procedures or related field desired.

* Experience with maintaining Inventory records

* Maintain and organize documentation related to compliance and administrative processes for SPCC.
