The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of three (3) Application Architect 3’s hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Application Developer and the specifications outlined in this submission for Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Performs application development; in support of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV), Information Technology (IT). Conducts application development based on agency requirements and advises manager of status of release based on results of testing performed for a software release to be implemented into production.

Required skills:

* 8 years of Experience programming with Java/J2EE and web programming concepts
* 8 years of Experience in software development
* 8 years Knowledge of Linux operating Systems, Apache Tomcat, webservices, DB2 database, writing and executing complex SQL queries
* 8 years of experience with Exercises logic and reasoning to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* 8 years of Effective oral and written communication
* 8 years of Working in a team environment and ability to communicate and assist with training other team members.
* 6 years of Experience guiding and recommending Application Architecture and Standardization
* 4 years of Experience with JIRA and JAMA
* 4 years of Working with Azure DevOps

Preferred skills:

* 8 years of Experience performing code reviews.
* 5 years of Experience with DB2 and SQL
* 1 or more years of TxDMV experience is preferred but not mandatory
