Our client is expanding its efforts to transform how developers build software by embedding intelligent tooling into everyday workflows. This team champions modern coding practices, explores emerging AI capabilities, and equips engineers with solutions that meaningfully reduce friction and boost delivery speed.

**Responsibilities:**

– Apply AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to speed up development cycles, improve code quality, and streamline refactoring efforts.
– Work closely with product, platform, and engineering partners to uncover bottlenecks and introduce automation or AI-driven enhancements.
– Design and extend integrations that connect internal developer systems with next-generation AI tooling.
– Track usage patterns, analyze performance data, and present clear insights around efficiency gains and team impact.
– Create documentation, guides, and best-practice resources that help engineering teams effectively adopt new tools.
– Pilot experimental AI capabilities, evaluate value vs. risk, and share recommendations with technical leadership.
– Contribute to operational excellence by ensuring every solution delivered is stable, secure, and scalable.

**Required Experience**

– Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with AI-assisted development products (Copilot, Claude Code, or comparable tools).
– Strong software engineering foundation using at least one contemporary programming language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc.).
– Experience building integrations or improving engineering workflows within a live production environment.
– History of effective collaboration with cross-functional groups such as product, DevOps, UX, or platform teams.
– Ability to communicate the impact of engineering changes using metrics, data, and clear narratives.
– Excellent written and verbal communication—especially when explaining technical ideas to diverse audiences.

**Preferred Skills:**

– Prior work in developer experience, enablement, or internal platform engineering.
– Exposure to machine learning, automation frameworks, or AI-driven systems.
– Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD pipelines, or engineering productivity platforms.
– Experience evaluating or rolling out new tools across multiple engineering organizations.
– Interest in prompt engineering, AI safety, or optimization of LLM-based developer workflows.
– Contributions to open-source projects or participation in AI/developer tooling communities.
