Duration: Long Term

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our growing cloud team. You will play a key role in architecting, designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:

* Design, deploy, and manage robust cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure, adhering to best practices and security principles.
* Collaborate with architects, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective Azure solutions.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.
* Configure and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and security services within the Azure platform.
* Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure business continuity and data protection.
* Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-efficiency and performance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve Azure cloud-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Azure services and functionalities.
* Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures for future reference.
* Mentor and guide junior cloud engineers within the team (Preferred).

Qualifications:

* 6+ years of demonstrably successful experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or a related role.
* Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
* In-depth knowledge of Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security, etc.) and their functionalities.
* Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform (Preferred).
* Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI) for automating cloud infrastructure tasks.
* Working knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices for cloud environments.
* Experience with DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) (Preferred).
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for cloud technology and a desire to learn and adapt to new advancements.
