Job Title: Background Verification Specialist

Location: Salt Lake City, UT – Hybrid(3 days office )

Duration: 3-12 Months Contract to Hire

Job Description:

We are seeking a Background Verification Specialist to join our team and ensure the accuracy and reliability of employee background checks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent research skills, and the ability to manage multiple verification processes efficiently. This role requires close collaboration with HR, compliance teams, and external verification agencies to ensure all background checks align with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct background verification checks on prospective employees, contractors, and vendors, including education, employment history, criminal records, credit checks, and professional references.
* Coordinate with third-party verification agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of background checks.
* Maintain and update background check records, reports, and databases in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Identify discrepancies or red flags in background reports and escalate concerns to HR or legal teams when necessary.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $25/Hr to $27/Hr with Limited benefits
