Job Description:
We are looking for a Battery Test Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the execution of development and production battery tests.
Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Mountain View and Fremont offices.
What you will do:
* Conduct battery performance tests in accordance with established protocols and standards.
* Calibrate and validate new test equipment, ensure reliability and precision in testing processes.
* Operate and maintain a variety of test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for battery testing, including but not limited to, environmental chambers, cycling testers, impedance analyzers, and voltage/current meters.
* Committed to enhancing testing processes and maintaining high safety standards through meticulous data management and innovative problem-solving.
* Maintain clean, safe, organized environments, adhere to 6S standards, and ensure compliance.
* Perform troubleshooting and troubleshooting of test setups and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
* Perform functional battery rework, ensure quality and reliability, reduce defects.
* Generate detailed test reports summarizing experimental procedures, results, and conclusions for internal customers.
Requirements:
* Battery Technician with over 5 years in troubleshooting, data analysis, and quality.
* Assurance within the battery technology industry.
* Experience with the safety aspects of High Voltage (HV) batteries and battery testing.
* Experience with assembling and testing High Voltage batteries.
* Demonstrated proficiency in handling lithium- ion and nickel-hydrogen batteries, managing lab consumables, and ensuring precise calibration of testing equipment.
