**Compensation:** This is an exempt position, with an annual salary range of $65K~$80K.
**Role Summary**: The Brand Manager role is a fully onsite position 5 days a week. As a key member of the Marketing team, the Brand Manager will lead Universal Processing’s marketing strategy, planning, and implementation in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager and the VP of Business Development. You will shape our brand presence and create compelling projects. This role is crucial for growing and scaling the uP brand across all channels and customer touchpoints. You will develop clear and consistent value propositions for each product segment and sales channel, assist in crafting the brand marketing communication strategy—including positioning and messaging—and oversee the go-to-market execution for our brand marketing calendar.
**Responsibilities:**
**Strategy & Project Planning**
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of our brand.
* Implement strategic business development plans for the brand, maintain brand identity, and execute marketing plans.
* Provide brand leadership and guidance to internal and external clients, fostering collaboration and ensuring optimal outcomes.
* Create and execute go-to-market strategies.
* Ensure brand initiatives are executed on time, control budget, and reflect the brand’s identity.
**Brand & Business Planning**
* Develop strategies, seek resources, manage budgets, and execute plans to enhance brand awareness and image.
* Create a comprehensive view of the category through competitive analysis, trend identification, and understanding consumer and customer dynamics to find growth opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with the sales team and dispensary partners to execute, evaluate, and refine growth opportunities.
* Manage the weekly brand marketing/content calendar and write briefs for brand marketing activities.
**Data-Driven Decision Making**
* Develop KPIs, measure and analyze the performance of brand marketing efforts, provide insights to executives and cross-functional teams, and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Analyze consumer insights, market dynamics, media trends, and other factors to create impactful marketing plans across digital, social media, search, and influencer content.
**Qualifications:**
* Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer!
* Bilingual proficiency in both Mandarin-Chinese and English is required.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
* 3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally in a brand management role.
* Desire to function as a business owner and a passion for brand management.
* Proven ability to develop effective, engaging and innovative storytelling and marketing programs.
* Experience leading go-to-market processes and exceptional ability to implement cross-functionally.
* Experience in the payment industry is preferred.
* Excellent project management skills and experience managing large projects.
* Flexible and able to quickly and effectively change priorities and direction.
* Can work in a fast paced environment.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
* Superior communication skills, capable of influencing and guiding cross-functional teams.
* Strategic vision, complemented by excellent time management skills.
