is currently hiring a Business Analyst for one of their clients.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
– Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to financial systems and processes.
– Conduct detailed requirement analysis including BRD, FRD, use cases, process flows, and gap analysis.
– Work closely with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Risk teams to understand functional needs.
– Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
– Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
– Support implementation and enhancement of financial systems such as ERP, billing, reporting, and compliance platforms.
– Perform impact analysis for regulatory and compliance changes (e.g., SOX, GAAP, IFRS).
– Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), prepare test cases, and ensure successful deployment.
– Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation solutions.
– Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure timely project delivery.
– Provide post-implementation support and assist in issue resolution.
**Required Qualifications**
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
– 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong exposure to the Finance domain.
– In-depth knowledge of financial processes such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting.
– Strong understanding of financial compliance standards (GAAP, IFRS, SOX).
– Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial platforms.
– Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
– Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
**Educational Qualification**
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
