Business Analyst – Healthcare

Rocky Hill CT – Day 1 Onsite

Full time / Perm -Open for H1B Transfer

The Sr Business Analyst will be responsible for detailing the technical requirements and will perform workflow analysis, testing & validation, training, and technical support.

Job Responsibilities:

* Interact with business users to understand new business requirements and enhancement requests
* Serve liaison role between application technology vendors, internal IS groups, and business users.
* Translate business requirements into product-specific designs and configuration, detailed requirement specifications and use cases.
* Deliver functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification requests to be used by Systems Analyst.

Minimum Qualifications

* 7 years of strong Business analysis, testing & validation background from large enterprise systems
* Must have Health Insurance experience, healthcare applications such as Claims and Enrollment.
* Excellent client facing skills with the ability to thrive in a highly critical, fast paced environment
* Extensive in SQL and Data Analysis.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills
* Must be able to communicate clearly to all levels in the organization
* Bachelor Degree with a major in Computer Science or related field

Highly Preferred Skills

EDI or HL7 is a plus.
