**Position: Business Analyst – SYS**
**Location: Albany NY – Hybrid**
**Hours: M-F 8 hrs negotiable; between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm**

**Job Summary**
**This position will develop and/or maintain system documentation including business requirements, and project process documentation, training plans, test plans, quality assurance and contingency operations plans, and reports.**

**Job Description**
**This individual will be expected to provide expertise and participate in the following activities:**

**Job Qualification**

* 7 years of experience eliciting/extracting detailed business requirements from customer/project stakeholders or system artifacts and documenting such requirements.
* 7 years of experience developing and/or maintaining system artifacts and documentation including business requirements, user, and functional requirements, project process documentation, quality assurance, and contingency operations plans and reports.
* 7 years of experience in obtaining and writing use cases, process models, workflows, creating screen mock-ups, report mock-ups, and technical documents with attention to detail.
* 5 years of QA experience including the following: Create Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test scripts, Execute functional and system tests including regression tests using manual and automated testing tools and record results using HP ALM/Quality Center (or equivalent), Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, performing retesting as required, Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g., missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process, Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases.
* Experience should include using testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or an equivalent.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 – $51.00 per hour
