**Position Summary**
The Career Development Coordinator position advises and supports UWL students in the career planning and exploration process. Our goal is to help students learn lifelong career development and career search skills and achieve their desired first destinations upon graduation from UWL. This position assists and collaborates with undergraduate students, graduate students, alumni, faculty and organization, and business leaders. Main responsibilities include providing career advising to undergraduate and graduate students and assisting with career programming, events, and workshops. The Career Development Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of the AACCS Office. The normal work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to multiculturalism, diversity and inclusive excellence, and an ability to work with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

This is a full-time position and includes a State of Wisconsin benefits package.

**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field required by start date

**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field
* Experience working with college students on academic and/or career related concerns
* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated strong presentation skills
* Demonstrated expertise in using office software packages, email, and student record systems
* Ability to prioritize and utilize good time management practices
* Ability to gather and synthesize information from a variety of sources
