**Job Title:** Case Manager (CW/QA)
**Location:** Baltimore, MD (Remote)
**Job Type:** Contract (Open to all candidates except **H1B Holders)**
**Pay Rate:** $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
**Job Summary:**
The **Case Manager (CW/QA)** plays a vital role in managing applications for child care benefits submitted by residents of Maryland. This role involves data entry, verification of applicant information, assessment against state policy, and resolution of customer inquiries. You will work within a structured process using multiple systems and follow established procedures to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform data entry of applications received via mail, fax, or electronic submission
* Review eligibility and payment information using defined quality assurance standards
* Research other internal systems to verify case status and identify missing data
* Make outbound calls to applicants to gather required documentation or clarification
* Document customer interactions and notes within the case management and document management systems
* Ensure high levels of accuracy and compliance with all transactions, as evaluated through QA audits
* Escalate complex cases following the established protocols
* Utilize FAQs, internal knowledge bases, and training materials to resolve inquiries
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current policies and procedures
* Follow assigned work schedules and attendance policies
* Ensure productivity while working from a dedicated, distraction-free home office environment
**Required Skills & Experience:**
* Minimum **3 year of experience in document processing** or **benefits determination**
* Experience with **State Health and Human Services programs**
* Familiarity with navigating **multiple database production systems**
* Strong data entry and documentation skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based tools
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
* Ability to work independently in a virtual setting
