**Description of Job**

The **Innovation, Strategy, and Delivery (ISD)** Division fosters and maintains a culture emphasizing deliberate strategic planning and transparent execution principals in order to facilitate discussions on how to maximize resources available.
The division is comprised of business partners, project managers, product owners and analysts that specialize in application and organizational support services that enable change from legislative and strategic projects in the Colorado Department of Revenue Mission Divisions. ISD actively manages this portfolio of projects and systems for the Department of Revenue. The work unit ensures better customer service by providing mechanisms for efficient and consistent communication.
**The typical day as a Centralized Asset Coordinator:**
You will be working independently to manage hardware and software inventory for DOR employees. You’ll use your excellent communication and customer service skills to coordinate with division managers and employees (current or new) to set up hardware and/or software based on their division’s needs. This entails troubleshooting technology, relying on your inventory databases which you will set up and manage, and organizing physical assets in the office. Your written communication skills will be critical in writing policies and procedures related to asset management. **Primary Duties:**
* Manages of all DOR hardware and software assets within the organization, including forecasting, demand management, procurement, deployment, inventory management, disposal, and replacement.
* Establishes and maintains asset management policies and procedures in collaboration with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and DOR standards.
* Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of hardware (laptops, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and mice) and major shared software licenses to support redistribution and renewal processes in compliance with internal policies and controls.
* Acts as the liaison between OIT, DOR staff, and vendors in relation to hardware deployments, maintenance, and reclamation with software management including ownership identification, availability, and license management for reissuance support.
* Conducts regular audits and physical inventories of hardware assets, and reconciles any discrepancies or issues.
* Manages the disposal and replacement of obsolete, damaged, or surplus hardware assets in compliance with policies.
* Partners with OIT, vendors, and purchasing to ensure adequate software licenses are available prior to deployments.
* Assists new hires that are onsite as part of New Employee Orientation with basic system tasks such as network login and Virtual Private Network (VPN).
**Position Details:**
This position reports to the Lakewood and neighboring offices 2-3 times a week (or more if needed).

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
Must meet one of the following or any combination of experience/education to meet the minimum (MQ) qualifications: **OPTION 1:**
6 years of experience in asset or information technology management. **OPTION 2:**
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment
AND
2 years of professional experience in asset or information technology management. **Substitutions:**
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned (as specified above) equal to six (6) years.

**Special Qualifications:*** Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
* Must possess a valid, unrestricted Colorado Driver’s License.
**Preferred Qualifications:*** State experience in an administrative or IT role.

* Demonstrated verbal and written communication
* Experience with policy and procedure development
* Experience with data entry
* Organizational skills
* Experience using an IT Asset Management System (ITAM) or system to track inventory
