Client Facing Business Analyst

**General Summary**

We are seeking a dynamic Client-Facing Business Analyst to join our client in the entertainment industry. In this role, you will engage directly with business partners, leading multiple activities such as business workflow discovery, use case definition, and workflow modeling. You will act as a key liaison between users, designers, and technical teams, ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing management of media asset management systems.

* **Remote (US Based), may require limited training / travel**
* **Contract position starting ASAP through June 2025**
* **May be required to work in shifts, weekends, and after hours as needed**
* **Background checks are required**
* **Entertainment industry experience is a plus**

**Responsibilities:**

* **Client Engagement:** Collaborate with clients to understand needs, define requirements, and ensure successful project delivery.
* **Business Workflow Analysis:** Analyze and document business processes; model and optimize workflows.
* **Project Coordination:** Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams; facilitate communication and ensure alignment.
* **Testing & Training:** Lead user acceptance testing; develop and deliver end-user training materials.
* **Support & Maintenance:** Resolve functional issues, provide post-implementation support, and ensure system reliability.
* **Reporting:** Regularly update management on project progress, status, and issues.

**Qualifications:**

* Strong experience in media asset management platforms and workflows.
* Expertise in business stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create clear project documentation.
* Experience translating business requirements into functional processes and workflows.
* Knowledge of marketing, creative, promo, and programming workflows is a bonus.
* Proficiency with workflow diagramming tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Mindmap.
* Experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile Scrum and Kanban is a plus.

**Education & Experience:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in business analysis, system analysis, or functional project management.
* Experience in the media, entertainment, news, or broadcast industry is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

* 8 hour shift
* Holidays
* Weekends as needed
