About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will lead cloud strategy, architecture design, and best practices across the organization while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

• Develop cloud adoption and migration strategies

• Define cloud governance, security, and compliance standards

• Lead infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Optimize cloud performance, cost, and scalability

• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams

• Conduct architecture reviews and recommend improvements

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity

• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 7+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in cloud architecture

• Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform:

o Amazon Web Services (AWS)

o Microsoft Azure

o Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Experience with cloud networking, security, and identity management

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of microservices and serverless architecture

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Technical Skills

• Cloud architecture design patterns

• Hybrid and multi-cloud environments

• Networking (VPC, Load Balancers, VPN, DNS)

• Security best practices (IAM, encryption, Zero Trust)

• Database technologies (SQL & NoSQL)

• Cost optimization strategies

• Automation and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Soft Skills

• Strategic thinking

• Leadership and mentoring

• Problem-solving mindset

• Strong documentation skills
