Cloud Solutions Architect – W2 (H1B/OPT) Accepted

Location: Austin, TX (Remote)

Duration: Long Term

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our growing cloud team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure, designing and implementing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized solutions on leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform – specify which platform or mention expertise in multiple platforms).

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, challenges, and cloud adoption goals.
* Design and architect robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions that align with business objectives and meet performance needs.
* Possess in-depth knowledge of various cloud services (compute, storage, networking, security, etc.) and recommend the best-suited services for each scenario.
* Translate architectural designs into actionable plans, considering factors like cost optimization, scalability, and redundancy.
* Work closely with cloud engineers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless implementation of designed solutions.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud platform features, services, and best practices.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with cloud platform vendors to leverage their expertise and support.
* Document cloud architectures, design decisions, and migration plans for future reference.
* Lead and participate in cloud migration planning and execution strategies.
* Identify opportunities to optimize existing cloud deployments for cost-efficiency and performance.

Qualifications:

* 6+ years of demonstrably successful experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or a related role.
* Proven track record of designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud solutions on a chosen cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform – or mention expertise in multiple platforms).
* In-depth understanding of cloud computing concepts, principles, and best practices.
* Strong working knowledge of various cloud services (compute, storage, networking, security, etc.).
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation (Preferred).
* Excellent understanding of cloud security best practices and ability to implement security controls.
* Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
* Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions.
* A passion for cloud technology and a desire to stay updated on the latest advancements.
