Carlisle Fluid Technologies has an immediate opportunity for a CNC Swiss, Setup/Operator in our Oakdale facility, working 4–10-hour shifts M-Th. This position is responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating Swiss Lathe and machining centers to fabricate parts and components while maintaining quality and safety standards. under minimum supervision.

**What you’ll do:**

* Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of CNC machines within the Machining department.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
* Adjust tools and replace them as needed
* Follow set-up procedures and recommend improvements
* Perform daily maintenance of machines as required and keep the supervisor informed of necessary maintenance beyond the operator’s ability
* Must read and understand layouts, job packets, and blueprints for the parts being run, including geometric tolerancing
* Provide accurate inventory always count and keep parts in appropriate storage areas
* Collect and input SPC data which involves the use of a comparator, CMM, Trimos, gauges, and related test instruments
* Assist in process development with engineers, quality technicians, and supervisors.
* Perform necessary side operations during machine cycle time as required (i.e., deburring, etc.)
* Work as a team member to aid all shifts and support personnel to operate departmental standards including quality and productivity goals
* Completing statistical documentation and studies as needed

**What you’ll need:**

* High school degree or equivalent
* Experience reading CNC programs and operational layouts.
* Two (2) years of CNC Machining experience in milling and turning

**Preferred:**

* Completion of a 2-year degree in Machining Technology or CNC Machining trade school preferred
* Experience with Citizen & Star
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
