Boston based educational consulting company is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. As an Educational Consultant, you will guide middle school students and/or high school students through their academic and extracurricular work and, during their application year, the secondary school /college application process.

This position pays competitively for full-time work. We offer flexible hours and very competitive pay.

**Qualifications and Skills**

– Must have undergraduate or graduate degree from a top-ranked university or previous experience on educational consulting

· Speak Chinese (Mandarin) and English fluently

– Major in English Literature/Translation preferred, but not required

– Superior English writing skills

– Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills

– Organized with great attention to details

– Reliable and punctual

– able to relocate to Boston

**Responsibilities**

· Provide professional consulting services to students, including course selection, extracurricular activity suggestion, college application, and admissions navigation, and more.

· Manage academic, standardized test, and extracurricular plans, and follow up with students and parents monthly to review students’ progress

· Maintain open and regular communication with students and parents

· Perform research on extracurricular activities (volunteering, summer programs, special projects)

· Evaluate students’ application profile to communicate strategic college list to students and parents

· Brainstorm and edit summer program essays

· Translate academic and application documents

· Collaborate with student service team to coordinate college application process

· Lead college tours

· Other duties as assigned by Manager/ Director.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
