Job Summary
This position observes, oversees, monitors, and reports on the compliance of non-Revenue employees with Federal, State and Department information disclosure safeguards for the protection of federal, state, and local tax information. This position is responsible for escorting vendors throughout Department of Revenue space at the Harold Stassen Building to ensure data privacy and disclosure rules are followed and enforced. This position is responsible for other duties as assigned. Daily reporting of compliance is required.
Minimum Qualifications
* Ability to understand and communicate regulations and report on compliance requirements.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Human relations and customer service skills.
* Ability to receive and relay information/direction both written and orally
* Ability to problem solve.
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of Data Privacy and Disclosure regulations.
* General knowledge of personal computer operation and software programs sufficient to apply those skills in reporting, communicating, and training.
* Reading comprehension, decision making and listening skills.
* Ability to identify and develop customer needs.
* Ability to train other unit staff on tasks and responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
This position requires:
* Frequent walking and standing in addition to some sitting.
* Requires occasionally lifting such articles as file boxes and heavy or heavier materials with help from others.
Additional Requirements
