My client is a forward-thinking, cutting edge consulting firm that would like to hire a unique Data Engineer on a 6 month contract to hire:

The role (Data Engineering, Back-End API Engineering, ML model integration)

I am looking for a Data Engineer with a knack for backend development and an eagerness to work with machine learning models and APIs. You will play a crucial role in handling data pipelines, running machine learning models, and integrating with APIs to support both data infrastructure and product development:

Skill Set

* At least 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering
* Python Skills for developing data pipelines
* Python skills for back-end development via FastAPI (understanding of RESTful principles)
* PostgreSQL expertise
* Ability to collaborate with the front-end team that utilize React / TypeScript
* Machine Learning (ML) integration experience / exposure:
* Experience with Hugging Face or similar ML libraries – ability to implement AI models within data workflows
