Data Migration Consultant

Job Description

• 2 years – part time or full time

We are looking for candidates familiar with extracting data from SAP 6.0. Your role will be to work with the client to understand their data, develop the data extraction design, and provide the extracted data to a Data Migration team to be migrated into our product.

What we are looking for:

* Good understanding and experience working with SAP 6.0 Service pack EHP3
* Experience with data migration and extracting data from SAP database/backend/ABAP programming
* Understanding of the SAP batch job processing and execution
* Good understanding of data mapping, data modeling, and data integration concepts
* Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies related to the data extraction
* Ability to communicate with and facilitate fact finding and data analysis from a variety of stakeholder groups
* Able to operate independently or with a team as required
* Provide regular updates and reports on extraction progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders

What would make you stand out:

* Experience in Utility Billing/CIS or the utilities industry
* Familiarity with MS SQL Server and Azure
* Ability to travel up to 10% in North America
