**Job Title:** PostgreSQL Database Administrator
**Location:** Austin, TX (Hybrid)
**Job Type:** Contract (Open to all candidates except **H1B Holders)**
**Pay Rate:** $45.00 – $50.00 per hour

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled **Database Solutions Engineer** with expertise in **PostgreSQL** and **Google AlloyDB** to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database performance optimization, query tuning, and **configuration review for Google AlloyDB**. Additionally, experience in **Oracle SQL/PLSQL development** is required.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Optimize **PostgreSQL performance** by conducting query tuning and performance improvements.
* Review and refine **Google AlloyDB configurations** for scalability, efficiency, and security.
* Develop and optimize **complex SQL and PL/SQL queries** for Oracle databases.
* Ensure database reliability, availability, and security in a hybrid work environment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions.
* Troubleshoot and **resolve performance bottlenecks** and database-related issues.

**Required Qualifications:**

* **8+ years** of hands-on experience with **PostgreSQL** (query tuning, performance improvements).
* **6+ years** of experience with **AlloyDB** (configuration review and optimization).
* **6+ years** of experience with **Oracle** (SQL and PL/SQL development).
* Strong understanding of **database architectures**, indexing strategies, and **performance tuning techniques**.
