**Position Summary:** The Director of Product Management is responsible for bridging the gap between business strategy and technical solutions, serving as the liaison by translating business needs into technical strategy and solutions. This is a unique and highly collaborative role that contributes to the technical strategy, vision, and solutions while working closely with executive leadership, business operations, and IT leadership.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Serve as the product subject matter expert by translating business needs into technical solutions.
* Lead product management and business analysis.
* Regularly communicate with executive leadership to shape the product strategy and translate business and technical needs.
* Lead and define product technical strategy, vision, and solutions in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
* Provide technical analysis of products and software to ensure that business and functional requirements can be met.
* Responsible for defining the strategy, developing, and executing the product roadmap senior leadership team.
* Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to company goals and strategy.
* Develop and execute complex test plans.
* Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions.
* Stay up to date on the latest best practices, strategies, technologies, and industry changes relevant to your product domain.
* Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
**Experience and Minimum Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
* 10+ years of technical product management and/or program management experience.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and with a synthesized view of complex technical and business considerations.
* Proven ability/experience with working cross-functionally on the successful deployment of technology and business process solutions in a large-scale, multi-vertical enterprise environment.
* Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.”
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
* Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
* Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
* Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, and solve complex problems.
* Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
* Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
**Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:**
* Advanced degree in a related field of study.
**Travel Requirements:**
* 25%-50% domestic travel required.
**Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:**
* Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).
**Physical Requirements:**
* Normal office environment.
* Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
* Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
