**Trident Consulting is seeking an
*AWS Data Engineer*
for one of our clients in Reston, VA.**

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

– **AWS-Recent project**
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
– 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
– Strong hands-on experience with
**AWS services**
such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, etc. for building scalable and reliable data solutions.
– Advanced expertise in
**Databricks**
—including data pipeline creation, optimization, notebooks, and AWS service integrations.
– Strong knowledge of
**DBT Core**
for data transformation and modeling (writing, testing, maintaining DBT models).
– Proficiency in
**SQL**
with experience designing and optimizing complex queries for large datasets.
– Strong programming skills in
**Python/PySpark**
for developing custom data processing logic and automation.
– Experience with
**Data Warehousing**
, including OLAP and OLTP concepts.
– Proven expertise in building/managing
**ETL/ELT pipelines**
, automating workflows, and performing data validation.
– Familiarity with
**CI/CD**
, version control (Git), and deployment automation.
– Experience working in an
**Agile project environment**
.

**Preferred Skills:**

– Experience with
**Apache Spark**
and distributed data processing in Databricks.
– Familiarity with
**streaming data solutions**
such as AWS Kinesis or Apache Kafka.
