**Job Summary**:
* AMAXST, a pioneering company in new energy storage solutions, is actively seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to lead our large-scale energy storage projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring all project phases are executed flawlessly and according to stringent specifications. This position involves managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating closely with multiple teams to meet project timelines, ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld, and adapting project plans in response to field conditions and technological advancements. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in energy storage, robust project management skills, and a proactive approach to solving complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Responsibilities**:
* Lead advanced field engineering assignments, overseeing commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and rework of Power Conversion Systems (PCS), inverters, transformers, and battery energy storage systems.
* Supervise and execute routine inspections and preventive maintenance, ensuring reliable and stable equipment operation.
* Lead a team in providing technical support and training to clients during project execution, ensuring effective communication and professional service.
* Guide and collaborate with the commissioning team to conduct system integration testing, ensuring efficient system operation.
* Oversee the analysis of operational data and lead troubleshooting for common and unexpected equipment failures, generating maintenance and fault reports.
* Manage and support remote monitoring systems, assisting in the analysis and optimization of operational parameters.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and customer service, to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
* Ensure accurate documentation by maintaining detailed records and reports for all on-site activities, safeguarding data integrity.
**Job Requirements**:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
* At least 1 year of relevant experience with a strong knowledge of Power Conversion Systems (PCS), inverters, transformers, or energy storage systems,. Experience with leading brands and a solid understanding of fundamental principles and operational procedures are required.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
* Knowledge of electrical safety standards and the ability to work independently in field environments.
* Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Proficient in written and spoken English (experience in communicating with international teams or clients is a plus).
* Capable of climbing ladders, standing for long durations, and lifting objects up to 70 pounds.
* Requires intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with email, internet, data entry, MS Office, and CRM systems.
* Must be available for flexible hours to respond to client emergencies.
* Willingness to nationwide overnight travel 80% of the time and capability to travel by your own when needed.
* Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
* Electrical or relevant technical certification (e.g., electrician license; journeyman preferred).
* Experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and integration with Power Conversion Systems (PCS) and inverters.
