We re supporting the State of Louisiana government office in Baton Rouge, LA!! There is no government clearance needed for this role. Our client State of Louisiana is seeking a remote Full Stack GIS Developer / Configuration Engineer with 2+ years experience in ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro performing usage and development of software. The State of Louisiana will begin several major highway construction projects throughout the state, including highway additions, and parcel updates. We re seeking a remote Full Stack GIS Developer / Configuration Engineer to help with their internal deployment and implementation of the Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) Enterprise ArcGIS and VertiGIS Studio platforms. We re seeking a Full Stack GIS Developer / Configuration Engineer with 2+ years experience in backend programming skills in C++, Python, and front development in JavaScript in addition data visualization projects in Tableau. Also, we re seeking skills in ArcGIS system administration related to configuring, integrating, and optimizing GIS software and hardware. The ESRI ArcGIS and VertiGIS implementation projects have not begun yet, and we re anticipating 80+ new remote GIS hires to start by June 2, 2025. Since this a four-year remote contract (w/ a possible extension) starting June 2, our client State of Louisiana plans to release their new cloud-based ESRI ArcGIS platform and VertiGIS Studio by year 2029 involving automated GIS technologies that enable internal staff members to manage geographic data, perform map modifications, and create analytical mapping visualizations for ongoing state construction projects.

The two-step interview process are two MS Teams video interviews with State of Louisiana s HR Dept. and GIS Technical Team, then a final video interview with State of Louisiana s Chief Information Officer (CIO). There will be an open-source C++, Python and JavaScript coding exercise in ArcGIS system within the final round video interview. An offer letter is anticipated by May 19, to start the remote role on June 2, 2025.

Job Description:
